Rated 1 out of 5 by from Please stop "deproving" this awesome product! I have been using Nexcare Active band aids for several years by now, and they are the by far most reliable band aid I have ever encountered. This is due to their strong water resistance as well as to their superior "stickyness", especially when water or sweat is involved. Unfortunately 3M keeps on systematically "improving" this otherwise awesome product. First, a few years back, the shape was changed from a traditional rectangle (the knee/elbow bandages still have it) to an elongated hexagon, which substantially reduced the actual fabric "pad", i.e., reducing the wound size a given band aid can cover. HUGE setback! Now, that I am forced to use a bigger band aid size, even for smaller wounds, Nexcare is adding insult to injury, by reducing the product packaging to a choice of a pack with knee/elbow band aids and a pack of "assorted" band aids. The single size pack of regular band aids has been withdrawn. So that gives me a choice: Buy the assortment, and throw the small size junk (=half the pack) away, because I am running out of regular size band aids, or slap elbow sized ones on every little something, which is totally not necessary, and will look ridiculous. Neither is an option to me, so I guess I will need to start looking for a different bandaid. Too bad that I need to discard such an awesome product due to lousy packaging!
